Far-Right Frames of Climate Change Acceptance in the European Parliament <\/em>at the Brussels Institute for Advanced Studies (BrIAS) Thursday Seminar Series. The workshop was part of a planned symposium on the topic. The event, organised by the European International Studies Association, brings together research groups to advance collaborative work on international studies projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-text-color has-alpha-channel-opacity has-background\" style=\"background-color:#3273dd;color:#3273dd\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>August 26-29, 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Franziska H\u00f6hne and Alexandros Tokhi attended the ECPR General Conference at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (26\u201329 August 2025). The conference brought together political scientists from around the world, offering a platform for research across all sub-disciplines of political science. Alexandros co-chaired a section at the conference as part of the FARRIO project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Franziska H\u00f6hne co-chaired the panel <em>Party Politics and Climate Change<\/em> together with Kai Schulze (Technische Universit\u00e4t Darmstadt). The panel brought together researchers examining how political parties \u2014 from green to radical right \u2014 shape climate policy and party competition across Europe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Alexandros Tokhi co-chaired the panel <em>Struggles In, Of, and Over &#8216;the Global South&#8217; in International Organizations<\/em> together with Tobias Berger (Freie Universit\u00e4t Berlin). The panel explored multilateralism, shifting global alignments, and the contested role of the Global South within international institutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-text-color has-alpha-channel-opacity has-background\" style=\"background-color:#3273dd;color:#3273dd\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>May 20-23, 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Together with Raffaele Mastrorocco (EUI Florence), Lisbeth Zimmermann directed an ECPR Joint Session on the \u201cInternational Politics of the Far-Right\u201d at Charles University in Prague.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Throughout the four days, we discussed 18 excellent papers that mapped out the diversity of far-right actors, preferences, and trends in global politics.
